The Sexually Immoral

Sexually Immoral

The definition of immoral is deliberately violating accepted principles of right and wrong.

The sexually immoral includes: prostitution, pornography, having sex outside of marriage, homosexuality, and adultery.

The bible says, "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body." (1 Corinthians 6:18-20)

You are supposed to honor God with your body. When you are sexually immoral, you sin against God and yourself. God knows your every thought and action. The bible says living a homosexual life style is wrong. You need to repent and turn from your wickedness. You can not hide your sins from God. On Judgment Day, all of your sins will be exposed. The 7th commandment is: "You shall not commit adultery." (Exodus 20:14)

Jesus said, "You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." (Matthew 5:27-28) If you have ever looked at anyone with lust, that makes you an adulterer at heart.

All pornography is sexually immoral. You are not supposed to even look with lust. God can help you overcome any type of sin.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
