The Murderers

The Murderers

The definition of murder is the crime of unlawfully killing a person especially with malice aforethought.

The 8th commandment is: "You shall not murder." (Exodus 20:13)

"A man tormented by the guilt of murder will be a fugitive till death; let no one support him." (Proverbs 28:17)

"He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy." (Proverbs 28:13)

Jesus said, "You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment. But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment." (Matthew 5:21-22)

Jesus is saying, if you get angry with someone it is the same as if you murdered them and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment. You should not hate or be angry with anyone. Jesus said, "But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."  (Matthew 5:44)

Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer.

"Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him." (1 John 3:15)

If you hate, the bible says you will not have eternal life. Jesus said, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." (Matthew 5:44)

Jesus showed his love when he died on the cross for your sins.
