All Liars

Liars

According to the dictionary the definition of a lie is to make an untrue statement with intent to deceive or to create a false or misleading impression.

The definition of liar is a person who tells lies.

If you do not believe God sent his son Jesus Christ to die for your sins, then you are calling God a liar! If you believe in a different way to heaven than what Jesus preached about, then you are calling God a liar!

"It is impossible for God to lie" (Hebrews 6:18)

Jesus said, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? He  who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God." (John 8:42-47)

The devil is the father of all lies. God is the father of truth.

"We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother." (1 John 4:19-21)

If you do not love your brother, then you have not received God's love.

According to 1 John 2:3-6, "We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did."

If you do not follow God's commands, then you are a liar. When you are born again in Jesus Christ, you will want to follow in his example of how to live.

Who are you following?

"You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator." (Colossians 3:7-10)

Jesus washes away your sins and gives you a new start.
