Who Are You Following?
What takes your time?
Do you think about Jesus every day? If not, what do you think about? Money? TV? Work? Or something else? Maybe that is your god.
God is a jealous God. You shall have no other gods in your life.
How much time do you give to Jesus each week? If you truly love something, it consumes your time.
Are you following Jesus?
Jesus said, "His sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger's voice." (John 10:4-5)
Following Jesus means to put Jesus Lord of everything in your life. If there was a computer that could record all of your thoughts and actions, what would it record? How would you like all of your family and friends to watch that recording?
If Jesus is Lord of everything in your life, then you have nothing to hide. On the Day of Judgment, unless you have accepted Jesus, you will have to give an account of your sins before God.
If you are not following Jesus, you are following a thief.
Jesus said, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10)
The devil is the thief. He often comes in the form of false teachers and religions who steal, kill, and destroy. The devil would like you to believe there are many ways to heaven, but Jesus is the only way.
Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
